Students, graduates, staff – and members of the local business community – are invited to join us for this free, physical event at LCB Depot, 12 – 2pm. You’ll hear from guest speakers including DMU’s Lead Academic for Product Design plus some of our fantastic students and graduates who will be discussing their work – the highs, lows and lessons learned.
Speakers
Nick Rowan is the current programme leader for Product Design at De Montfort University and an active member of the Institution of Engineering Designers. His previous areas of expertise are in building acoustics and project management and he is currently researching the use of innovative technologies in the delivery of education.
DMU student Thomas Wylam is an aspiring industrial designer motivated to explore user experience & systems thinking with the goal of creating a circular economy.
DMU Graduate Rupinder Kaur Bhanganni is Managing Director & Interior Designer at RKB Design Studio Ltd. The company is a Leicester-based interior design company offering complete design solutions for cafés, offices and residential spaces.
As well as the talks, you’ll be able to put your questions to the speakers and there’s time for networking too – with refreshments available to purchase from Grays cafe-bar.
